Recognizing our names.

Using one-to-one correspondence when counting.

Continuing to work on learning each other's names.

Identifying "smaller" and "larger" items.

A few parent reminders...

You are more than welcome to send your child with a water bottle. They can keep it in their cubbies and go grab a quick drink any time they need it. We've had a couple kiddos ask for water throughout the day (which we happily give). We give it in the little cups though and that can be messy, so please send a water bottle with your kiddo.

Please make sure your child's name is on his/her mat. We have LOTS of the same mat and we want to make sure that every kiddos is always on the right one.

We'll have a white basket outside our door every morning. Please put the yellow take-home folders inside that basket each morning.

Our class did awesome last week!! We were SO impressed with how well they behave, how much they know, and how excited they are about coming to school. To start this week off, we're going to try to take kiddos at the door and help them get their backpacks/lunches to their cubbies.
